Clay Workshops At Paint A Pot Place
If you have ever thought about trying your hand at pottery our courses would be perfect for you. Here at Paint A Pot we offer six-week courses for beginners and for the more advanced potter. We also offer one off pottery wheel sessions.
The six-week course runs on a Monday evening 7-9pm or a Wednesday morning 10am-12pm these run through term times only. You will learn how to build pot using the techniques pinch, coil, slab and throwing on the wheel. You will also get to paint and decorate your creations.
Pricing: £27 a week or £162 for the full six week course.
Potters Wheel Sessions
Can’t commit to the six-week course but would like to try throwing? We offer one off potter wheel sessions with tuition from our very own potter Alison.
Price is £45 per person; this includes keeping two pots thrown on the wheel and coming back to paint them once they have been bisque fired. If you would like to keep any of the extra pots thrown there will be an additional charge or £5 per pot which will include the firing and painting.
Booking for both these sessions is essential and can be done by calling us, popping in the shop or messaging us on Facebook. A £20 deposit will be requested on booking and is non refundable is cancelation is less than two weeks’ notice.
